First blog post, and it’s apt that it’s about our first Facebook game, Christmas Crunch Deluxe. I mention in the portfolio that it’s been a long journey getting it released and it certainly has. Over the years it was hard to see how the original game could be improved upon, mainly because like most games of it’s ilk it’s so finely balanced, change one thing and the gameplay stops working as well. My idea then was to keep the game as it was, but to try to come up with ways to extend it or enrich the experience.
