Earth defense is a retro shoot-em up. One of my favourite old games was a game on the Atari 800XL called Gyruss. I loved that game, and that inspired me to something similar. I always try to do something different with my games, so came up with the idea of keeping the gun fixed at the center of the screen but can be rotated around. I'm also big on chain effects, so that plays a big part in the game play as well. It was a moderate success on the web, but won me 2nd place in the Judged Mochi Rockstar competition of 2008, which I was very pleased about!
